lJonathan
Gerald Eriksen was born to Eric and Yvonne in Schenectady, NY, March 11, 1985.
He grew up in Pattersonville, NY, and graduated from Schenectady Christian
School in Scotia, NY. He now resides in Northville, NY. He is currently a
Senior at
LeTourneau University in Longview, TX, majoring in Industrial Management.
Jonathan
started his racing career at age 17 driving a
Star Champ Cart
at Dodge
City Speedway, Cobleskill, NY.
He finished the 2002 season receiving the Rookie of the Year
trophy, and was awarded a trophy for finishing fourth in points in the Star
Champ Class at Dodge City Race Track.
In 2003, he
participated in the Skip Barber Eastern Regional Race Series, achieving two
third place podiums and completing the season 10th of 125 competitors.
Jonathan
received a trophy at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL for finishing in
third place.
Participating in the 2004 Skip Barber Formula Dodge National Championship Race
Series, Jonathan completed 12th in the points standing.
Jonathan finished 43rd out of 75 drivers in the ESS Series in 2005. He was only able to make 8 races.
Jonathan has continued to progress with in the sprint car ranks. He moved up to a 410
half way through the 2006 season and made tremendous progress.
Jonathan was able to finish 27 in points at Lincoln Speedway after racing for less than half a season.
Jonathan is very grateful for all the sponsors that have helped him out along the way.
Jonathan learned a lot racing the Pancho's Racing Products #93 in 2007. Jonathan competed weekly at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedway. He is extremely grateful for the opportunity provided for min to race the #93. Thanks for a great year Pancho, Brian, Tab, Carl, Kevin, and Debbie.
